What is it going to take?

The most vulnerable time in a student’s day is dismissal. Younger students rely heavily on the guidance, direction and support of adults while the growing 6th grader and above have it figured out and the way to thwart the system as many times as possible with minimal consequences. So, here’s where training comes into play. If you forget your badge at work they give you an identifying badge but you are limited to where you are allowed to go freely inside the space. Children will mimic and follow the direction that will give them the result they are looking to achieve. So why are we not holding them to a standard that will train them early because safety is the responsibility of everyone and that includes YOU and YOUR child. Training starts at home.

How much money is your child worth?  If I gave you $1.8M for the life of your child would you be happy? how about 23.5M? Remember you can watch them grow you cannot see them bring you grandchildren and you can’t turn to your friends and say “I’m proud of who they have become!” My answer is No amount of money is worth my child and our future. So what is it going to take for you to help make a change or request something different or be a participant of safety procedures for your growing mini me and he.  Safety is the key and if it is meant to be it is up to me! So, let’s start requesting tools that will allow those responsible for your children to be efficient and effective in completing the job you have entrusted with them with.  Getting your child home to you.
